The head gate box for the main irrigation ditch is cement with a steel headgate that is adjusted with a turn of a wheel.   
The owner controls the timing and amount of irrigation water in the ditch.  Unlike other North Park properties, the ranch has had full ditches during the past few drought years. April 2006 June 2006 May 2006
Both irrigation ditches are privately owned by the ranch, and the water is free to the ranch.
