The Jackson County Sand Dunes are a 2000 acre recreation area and the only sand dune complex in the state where OHV use is allowed.  It is about 40 miles from the ranch.
    The ranch is 5 miles from Coalmont, which has a large sage grouse roosting area in the spring.     Never Summer Rodeo takes place every year in June and shows off real western charm with a rodeo, small town parade, pancake breakfast and country-western dance.
